Upgrade or Clean Install?

Hey Guys,

Fairly new to the forums. I'm currently running Windows Vista (came on my Desktop), I was looking into getting 7 soon and was wondering what's the pros and cons of doing an upgrade compare to doing a clean install?

Always, always but always clean. The reasons are many, but in a nutshell. Its like an old car you can wash it wax it or paint it but its still old.

Any problems virus corruption you have with the old system will carryforard into the new with an upgrade. almost everyone here will agree, and give their reasons.

Time wise you save time with a clean install, even counting the time to install programs. With an upgrade you will spend a lot of time correcting the problems

Almost forgot, you can do a clean install with the cheaper upgrade DVD. If you are interested we can supply a tutorial with all that information.
