Upgrade to Premium?

I went to upload something on Imageshack and it said I needed to upgrade to Premium first.


Seriously? I've been using Imageshack and so have some other people while it had been free to use for years and I had never had any issues or restrictions telling me to "upgrade now". Do you realize how much upgrading an account costs?

I'd be interested in knowing that, haven't tried since the name change but whenever I went to try to upload to a forum, everytime it told me the photo I was trying to upload was not a valid file.

I don't use it but I would think it will provide a direct link to add to a post and the image would show.

I use Photo bucket, it's still free.

You can simply copy and paste the url of the original image on OneDrive or the actual image it's self,
You can also use the same process in post templates,
These unlike allot of shared file links do not expire "unless you move the file from the folder it's in on skydrive,
If you edit the file on your machine add information... as long as you keep the same name and re-upload it to OneDrive the file amazingly updates where you posted it on the web
OneDrive will ask you if you want to replace the file/ Yes.

The issue with PhotoBucket is the files shared expire after I believe 30 days,
All you will see is a black box instead of the image
I used it before,

This is why all sf admin's will always say to use the forums upload features because the site shared files will eventually expire leaving black boxes instead of images.
Funny this image is shared from skydrive about a year and a half ago

If I didn't entirely respond to that in my first reply,
There is no upload necessary,
As long as the permissions of the folder the files are in on OneDrive are Public/ Everyone can view it a simple open the Original file and simply copy and paste like you would save picture as
I've used that simple process on answers.microsoft.com for years and they just added the upload files option but I don't use it because it's a one file at a time search very slow,

I use "post Image" Easy Free no Registration. Works fine with the Forum.

Press the ALT and PrntScrn keys at the same time, this will capture only the active window to use in Paint or your preferred graphics editor.


You may also upload a photo or image you already have on your PC,as you would a file, without using the Snipping tool.
