Let's check something first...
Please follow this tutorial and post an MGADiag report - then we can see what the problem is.

http://www.sevenforums.com/windows-...ne-activation-issue-posting-instructions.html

Ignore errors produced when clicking on the Copy button - they simply mean that the tool could not create the backup files for some reason. The data is still copied to the clipboard for pasting to your response.

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

That doesn't show the error I was expecting to see - let's see if we can find it elsewhere...

Please open Event Viewer
In the left pane, navigate to the Windows Logs
right-click on Applications and select 'Save all events as...' save as Apps.evtx
repeat for the System logs - save as Sys.evtx
Compress both files, and attach to your reply.

Please don't run any other tools unless specifically asked to - they can confuse the issue.

I'll have to look at these files tomorrow (time for bed now!)

BitDefender appears to be causing a lot of problems in the registry - I would suggest uninstalling it (it's also very likely massively out of date!)
A number of Dell services are causing problems - you should uninstall any you are not actively using.

Once you've uninstalled BitDefender, run their cleanup tool - http://www.bitdefender.co.uk/support/how-to-uninstall-bitdefender-333.html then install MSE at least on a temporary basis.
