upgrade windows 7 build

It depends on what you are upgrading from. If it is from Vista SP1 or SP2, or another Windows 7 installation, then you can use the same method in the tutorial below to do a upgrade installation.

You CAN upgrade, if thats what you wish, but it's simply a half @ss'd job. Upgrading usually leads to errors and problems further down the line. A fresh install is the best way to go, to start from a clean slate, and to have minimal problems.

But if you MUST upgrade, then the links provided by earlier post's will help you through.

i have windows 7 build 7100 and i want to upgrade to 7200 or what ever the newest one is.

If your going from Vista, I'd recommend a clean install..

Although, since your going from one win7 to another, your best bet would be an UPGRADE, hands down. it will take longer for it to process, but your saving hours of program re-installing. Every time you get ahold of a newer build, just upgrade it to the newer one. it's very painless, and 100% automated. you can do this as many times as you wish, to newer builds.
