Upgrading Chipsets

I have just upgraded to windows 7 home premium, and I was wondering if someone could tell me what the best intel chipset for laptop would be. I currentl have the 945 express chipset. Is there a better one??

Whatever is in your machine is your chipset. So the 945 is your chipset.

I'm not sure what your question is getting at, as far as a better chipset. You must update (if avalible) the chipset drivers for your chipset. intel 945 If your chipset drivers are more current than any of these ten stay with them. Windows updatw cataalog Microsoft Update Catalog

You change chipsets by getting a newer and more modern motherboard that has a newer chipset. The 945 is several years old, but may still be perfectly good for your purposes, depending on what you do with your PC.
