Hello all,

After a system scan it seems I had some corrupted Windows files which were affecting bootups which caused periodic freezes. I decided to do a in-place reinstall. and after I uninstalled SP1 all went well until I got to the final reboot and then received the message that the installation could not complete and my Windows version was been returned to the previous version?

Can anyone help please?

Many thanks

Many thanks for your swift reply, very much appreciated.

I followed everything as detailed in the tutorial. The only omiission was I did not uninstall my security suite so maybe this could have been the issue?

Now that Windows (the old install) is active again, some of my programs will not work which is not an issue BUT they will not install as the error says I cannot access the disk?

Thanks again for your help.
