Don't mix memory types.
If you can find the EXACT same memory that you have now, you can buy 2x8G and add to your computer.
EXACT is the same brand, model, timing and even same chips types.
Are you sure you need 32G?

search for, then follow to the letter, the options listed for your motherboard on its official QVL list

http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socketAM2/M3A79-T_Deluxe/M3A79-T_DELUXE_QVL.zip

*sry, thats not my current system, the signature has been updated since
the current set of RAM i have installed are not on the QVL (i dont think...), but they work fine so far

Are you sure you need 32G?

not really, but they were having a sale on 2x8 and just normal operations uses 9GB, so i figure for future proofing, id go 32GB, before i get complacent and wait till DDR4 gets obsolete. you wont believe how much DDR2 sells for....... probably cuz nobody makes it anymore

something you might do now, and also immediately after getting new memory..

- download and run cpu-z, then click on its memory tab to make sure you are running in dual channel mode. If you are, then your dimms are installed in the right slots. If not dual channel, then they are not..

CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID

- do start > run > resmon > enter, click on its memory tab and look at your hardware reserved number. It should be 20MB-150MB. If its higher than that, then your motherboard is not able to use all of your memory due to compatibility problems.
