Hi,

I some time ago upgraded from a Windows 7 build to another. Is this ok to do, if i remember correctly certain programs did not perform correctly. Is it be better to do a fresh install if possible?

Without a doubt.
As this OS isn't final there may still be some bugs, and there is a chance these bugs will go from build to build when you upgrade.
A clean install is the best thing to do
