I want to up grade my CPU+MB+Ram . Does any one know if i can do it without windows wanting a new activation code or not?

It depends on which type of Windows OS disk you have.

If it is an OEM disk it is tied to your motherboard so you'll probaby encounter an activation and validation problem unless you buy a new OEM Windows disk.

If you have the retail version of Windows you can use it on one computer at a time so a phone call to Microsoft should get the license moved and the OS activated.

Click Start and type slui.exe 4 in the Search field and press Enter to launch the automated Windows activation wizard, and then comply with the automatic instructions.
