Solved URL Display

I noticed this awhile back but have just now decided to ask. This happens in IE, Firefox & Pale Moon.

Before, when I hovered/place mouse over a hyperlink the url path would display at the bottom of the page. This does not happen now. Is it just me and how to bring back?

That's very odd to happen in more than one browser as this is a browser feture so it's dependent on each browser. I don't think this is computer related, but perhaps some setting you set in the browser. Or it's add-on/plug-in related. If it is plug-in related, do you have a plug-in like Java that spans across all browsers? Check all browsers for the common denominator.

This is a feature I used for many years so I know exactly what the URL goes to before I click a link and to help with my website development, etc.

I'm a hammerhead. I unchecked the status bar on all my browsers to maximize the viewable area and forgot I had done this.

Curious none of the gurus here mentioned it.
