I have hp desktop i5 ,8gb ram, but in the system information it is written that the usabe RAM is 3.44gb ,, please advice,,thanks to all

what is maximum addressable ram in 32bit system,, thanks to all

Make sure in system configuration, you have Maximum Memory set to zero (0). Save & reboot system, then re-check.

I am a little confused. You are asking about 32bit system while your system spec says you have x64. What you describe is about right for a 32 bit system, which has a maximum usable space of about 3.25-3.5 GB. With a 64 bit OS you should be able to see all 8GB. Which is it?
