USB Device not Recognized Please Help

Hi everybody

I am using windows 7 ultimate sp1 duel boot with windows xp sp2
i have a usb wireless mouse , USB wireless LAN adapter and USB WD My Passport 500GB HDD and Iomega 500GB HDD alos USB
They where all working fine before 2 days
then suddenly windows prompts a messege saying '' Usb device not recognized ''
and the messege flashes spontanously every 2-3 minutes
I EVEN DISCONNECTED all usb devices but the messege still persists every 2-3 minutes comes spontanously.
I have encountered the same problem before one month but ignored it it was fixed by itself.
i installed a fresh copy of windows 7 but still the same also same problem in windows xp.
Laptop model : Toshiba satellite L300
CPU : Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5800 @ 2.00GHz
Memory : 2.00 GB
So please help i don't know what it could be , i appretiate it thanks

thanks for the quick reply these are screenshots
but sorry i forgot to mention that whether the devices are connected or not the messege still comes
and the devies are working properly but the messege is really annoyng thank you i really appretiate your help

could it be a virus or something causing this issue
i am pretty sure my hardwares are fine.

i am getting mad about this problem, I already tried many fixes but no benefit so please any ideas.

The message that came up in the third screen shot says one of your usb devices has malfunctioned, unplug all of them and reinstall them one at a time. Could be something as simple as rerecognizing the device and installing the drivers for it.

i just unplugged all devies and uninstalled all of the from device manager, even uninstalled hidden devies but still the same error comes up i did not even connected the devices yet but this messege comes up and I'm getting mad
i haven't seen anything like this before is that possible!!??

I finally figured it out , i checked my usb ports one of them was damaged so i deassembled my lap and have the port disconnected from the motherboard and the problem solved once and for all, However thanks for your help i appretiate it , and I'm sorry if I took your time helping me with my trouble thanks again.
