USB device not recognized!!! PLZ HELP

With the SIW tool that will show the make and model is in that model. From there you can find the updates needed. I simply find it hard to believe that nothing works at all in every port with just the clean install of 7 alone.

I can throw a fast install of XP, Vista, and 7 on and have access to any usb drive right off when detected with an NTFS partition on it. You simply make a trip into the disk management to assign a drive letter.

The Windows updates alone should anything needed listed under optional there unless you had a bad install of Windows to start with.

like i said clean install, no port works i tried uninstalling the controllers, they just load back up, no device is working plz help fresh install of win 7 64bit 5 min ago same problem 7600 rtm

Perhaps one thing you can list here is what devices besides hubs are you plugging in? Does that include usb pen or flash drives, cordless mouse, printer, etc>?

For individual devices specific drivers for that device alone would be the item to look at when seeing the unknown device popup. Once you install the drivers for a specific device when plugged in that should then appear listed in the device manager. For a printer that would be in the "devices/printers" section of the Conrtrol Panel there.

MY USB IS ON THE FRITZ lol now i plug in a headset, it works, BUT ONLY ON ONE USB OUTLET OUT OF THE 4, i unplug it and try it qagain it dosnt work, i have nothing plugged in and it keeps saying in device manager 2 unidentified devices, like i had 2 things plugged in but i do not. plz ppl help me, i think i just need the right drivers, cause its trying to install device drivers and it says device drivers not installed succesfully

Might I ask Where did you get your Copy of Windows RTM - x64.?
for some reason I think your copy is BORKED.

What you are describing is more like recycling the power supply. Once you have everything off and the ac cord unplugged as well as having the breaker on the supply turned off as well you hit the power button on the case when turning the breaker switch back on in order to discharge the caps in the supply itself.

The method is used often when a supply known to be good suddenly won't provide enough power to run the system.
