How do I get a custom icon to display for USB ext data drives in WinXP + Win7 ?

I have created "autorun.inf" files + the ICO file.

But the icon only displays on WinXP PC but not Win7 PCs

(I have worked out how to ensure my "USB-labels" show on both WinXP + Win7 PCs (also using inf files) but how to show the icon on any PC alludes me)

Would appreciate any help

"It has been reported that on some systems your ".INF" file extension may need to be capitalized in order to work." - and so reports a website I had seen. :)

You may check on this. (On my system the lowercase .inf itself works.)

Note:Also it will not work on a drive where Autorun is turned off.
