USB Driver Help plz

Hi, so im a complete amateur with desktops so bear with me plz

I got a new desktop recently which came with windows 7, my old desktop had windows vista.

I have a Belkin N Wireless Model : F5D8053 v3

I asked a friend and he told me he wasnt sure but he didnt think that Windows 7 had a usb adaptor yet?!?

So my lappy is working absolutely fine and the software is installing on my desktop but it still cannot find a connection!

Any help would be much appriciated.

Welcome to 7 Forums 810ofclubs.

They don't seem to have a 7 driver, but the Vista driver should work fine. See here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html

If the driver for Vista does not work, then you have two options:

1. Wait for Belkin to release a 7 driver

2. Get a linksys adapter. From what I've read, Linksys is the only company that has Windows 7 compatible usb adapters. Netgear might, but I've had mixed results with their usb adapters in my line of work.
