USB flash drive not detected...pls help!!!

guys..my USB stick is apacer handy steno 256mb (old model) not detected when i plugged in..drive not appear in My Computer..taskbar never show the safety remove hardware..device manager show "USB Device"..when i go to Disk Management, it ask me to initialize disk, MBR or GPT, and a message pop up "device is not ready"..same message appear when i choose offline..i have gone thru many many forums but nth help...please advice me..those datas in that usb stick is important to me...:cry:

Might be the USB stick or something. Maybe it stopped working. Have you tried using it on other PC's?

Sorry I haven't responded sooner.

The USB stick might be not working anymore.

You might be able to ask some people at a PC shop or something, but they'll probably ask for $$ even just to do a diagnostics or something.

It's really hard to diagnose what the problem is without being able to physically access the drive and find hardware problems.

You would probably need a flash drive data recovery company that specializes in recovering data off of usb flash drives..
