I unplugged my USB Kensington keyboard and Anker mouse to use on another computer. When I plugged them back into the first computer, they were not detected.

I restarted the computer, no help. BIOS says USB detection enabled. I uninstalled the Anker driver and reinstalled to no effect.

Strange part is when I plug in a spare Dell mouse and Microsoft keyboard, my computer detects them and let's me use them.

The Kensington keyboard and Anker mouse do light up when plugged in, but are unusable. They work when plugged into the other computer. I am perplexed. Ideas?

When I plug in the nonworking keyboard and mouse along with the working keyboard and mouse, it detects the nonworking ones, but says they are unspecified. When you click on the properties, it says the devices are working properly, which they obviously are not. So perplexed.

Do not install two keyboards or two mice at the same time on the same system and see how things work.
One mouse and one keyboard at a time on one system is best.

It would be helpful if you filled in your system specs. Here is a tutorial by
Brink that can help.

It would also be helpful if we knew what keyboards and mice you are using and how they hook to your system.

I filled out the specs. Does that give you any insight?

Keyboard and mouse are connected to front USB ports (connected to rear USB before with same results).
