Hi.. first of all ty guys for reading this..
so this is my problem.. my mouse stops working. After a research & lot of posts about "hot to fix"....
i did EVERYTHING the said. unplug, update, connect, disable/enable, reboot and nothing...
then i tried to connect to another port and nothing...
i tried to clean the ports with some paper and.. yes that helped a lil bit.. but after a short time the problem persists... when im ussing it..everything normal.. then it freezes, then back to normal.. then again freezes for an hour.. then back to normal for a minute..
so any ideas?

How many un powered USB devices do you have? more than three may decrease voltage and cause things to freeze. add a powered hub to fix the problem

Assuming that the entire computer doesn;t freeze. (If so that's a different problem)

Don't laugh but check the optics cavity on the bottom for lint or dirt.

Optical mice also "burn out" after some period of time it seems like , like 2-4 years depending on how old they are and how much use they get. Try using a different mouse.
