USB printer conflicts with PS2 Keyboard

Hello,

I'm trying to connect a USB HP PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one printer to my computer but as soon as I connect this printer to a USB port my PS2 Keyboard stops working, if I disconnect it the keyboard starts working right away. How can I solve this conflict issue? I never had this problem with USB printers and my PS2 keyboard!

Did you try a different USB port? Or unplug keyboard, plug in printer, then plug in keyboard. Sounds like an irq conflict. Do you have a USB keyboard to use unti you solve it? At any rate with the mouse can you look in device manager for yellow bangs ('!') next to keyboard or printer?

I tried all of that. I don't see any yellow events either. Probably time to buy a new printer.

Have you tried the manufacturer's forum? There might be a work-around. But with printer prices these days your solution may come with fewer headaches.
