Hello F1m...

I'm afraid I don't see a Vista driver available anywhere, so perhaps the manufacturer hasn't made one.

However, I believe your installation executable doesn't work in Windows 7, but the drivers should work...
Anyway, I have 2 suggestions for you:

1. Open your installation setup.exe using compatibility mode and run it as "Windows XP".

or

2. Try opening Device Manager and right-clicking your card (should be there with an exclamation mark or something) - Update Driver and manually point to the folder where the driver files are located (some 2862w.inf and .sys files in your case). When asked if you want to install this driver anyway, click yes...

Hope it helps.

Your card has been installed then and working fine...it's either an antenna problem, a wireless station problem or a switch on your system is turned off.

If it is a laptop, most laptops have a switch to turn on and off the wireless antenna..
Although this is for the built-in wifi card, it might apply to your case.

Is this a laptop or a desktop pc?

Is a desktop... In XP, it works fine, and the correction was great...

Ok...In this case , it could be a driver problem indeed.

However, I can suggest you turn off your wireless access point for a while, turn it back on, wait a while and do a "diagnose" on the connections to see if this could make a change.
Sometimes certain wifi cards get stuch with certain access points and need a reset.

In order to help better, could you fill in your hardware specs ? There is an option at User CP in this forum.

Otherwise, just post your motherboard model.
If you don't know it, download CPU-z ,run it and go to Mainboard on top.

Please download and install the following:

http://www.kcs.gr/Vista.zip

You will find 2 folders , x86 and 64x. Run the x86 installation if you have 32bit Windows.

If it doesn't open and gives you wrong windows version issues, run in compatibility mode.

Let us know if it helps.

PS: This is the chipset drivers for your motherboard.
