Solved useful or not??

acer laptop with windows 7 home premium,about a year ago. Still has a lot stuff of acer this & that which to my knowledge does not seem to be useful. can I remove any of these or not???

That depends. Some of the OEM programs are useful because they support special features of the PC. Example: My Sony laptop has a backlit keyboard. The settings can only be done with the Sony Manager (unless I want to change it in the registry).

So, you have to check what functions those programs perform and whether you can perform those in other ways.

You can deleted the rest Windows 7 has most of it built in & if you find out you want it later you can download it at Acer

Hi alexm - be very careful about what you delete - to be safe, make a disk image backup before you start deleting things in case you run into trouble - then at least you will be able to recover.
