Usefull updates: how to install?

Hello Seven Forum.

I need your help about Windows update.
In my panel control, i've plenty updates for Windows Server 2003, Windows XP...

Is it really usefull to install them on Windows 8?

Windows Update will only install updates appropriate for the operating system in use.

You shouldn't be seeing updates for Windows Server2003 or XP - although some updates apply to all operating systems, there are different versions for XP to those for Vista and Win7 - and probably a different one again for Win8.

What KB numbers are associated with these updates?
