Picked up a D-link USB wireless network adapter on black friday. Received it yesterday, and it works beautifully on the admin. account of my computer(7 Home premium) However, when my son tried to go online today, on his account, the wireless network won't work. Even when I enter in the network security key for the router. I don't want to have to make his account an admin account, as that would completely defeat one of the main purposes for me buying a Windows 7 machine, I wanted the parental controls. any hints, advice? the D-link website was less than helpful.

Did you need to install anything before using this usb adapter?

Yes, do I need to install it on each of the user accounts too?

OKay, the software was installed on the user accounts. Went thru the connection manager on one user account, online was temporarily lit up, and then it popped right back off line.

Yes those wireless connection managers will conflict with each other sometimes and cause these problems. The last Dlink software I installed didn't work well but the latest version did work and had a handy little online channel scanner that works pretty well. This was for my Dlink DWA160.
