I Easy Transferred a users old computer to her new one and now she can't find
her mail, desktop, files etc. Did I cobbler her profiles when I syspreped her
new cpu before giving it to her ? (I have yet to get my hands on it to see what happened ).

I'm not sure what happened, but Easy Transfer doesn't work too well in my experience.

I hope she still has access to the original files and email on the original installation. I just don't trust Easy Transfer to do anything right and gave up on it.

Ditto. In my experience I have not had a 100% successful transfer ever. Easy transfer ends up being not so easy.

Much easier to just drag the User folder or named User profile to external, then copy the folder contents back into the new install's User folders via Explorer bar.

Does she have any prior images you could reimage to the original hardware to reimport the data then copy it out manually?

If not try setting up her User profile exactly as before.
