User Partitions?

Hello all. I've just come across a problem that I've never experienced before. I'm trying to fix a Compaq laptop with Win7 for a friend. It has 3 different users, my friend, her friend, and Guest. The first 2 are password protected, Guest is not. (I forgot to ask for the passwords, and can't get hold of them right now.) I just found out that the wireless does not work with guest accounts. Is that normal for Win 7? Is there any way around it? Hard wiring won't work.

I know this laptop has a serious virus somewhere, but I have never dealt with a Win7 computer that has user accounts. Are different user accounts on different drive partitions then? If so, does that mean you have to install and run a virus program on each separate account? Or can you just run a full disk scan from any account? How exactly does that work?

Any info will be appreciated. Thanks.

The users are located at C:\Users by default. You only have to install and run AV once. You may want to use a boot up AV, which can generally be found free. Here's a google link:
