When I tried to install itunes, it gave me an error that said: Could not access network location %AppData%. Apple said empty the temp folder and it installed. Then it after install, it said: The Required Folder Could Not Be Found. I also had that problem with "APPDATA" in many other installs. Itunes works just fine in another account. Apple support told me to create another "test" account to see if it is user specific. When I tried to open that new account it said: The user profile service failed login. The user profile could not be started. Or something like that. Apple said it is probably an OS problem. They did not tell me much more because they freaked out when I told them
I was using MediaMonkey to sync music because iTunes would not work. Apple is so paranoid. Any help to my problem?

I had a similar problem - perhaps not quite the same as you - but perhaps something in my experiences will be some value, if only small..

I store my personal files on a remote machine. For me this is a file server down the other end of the house. So I changed the location of my personal folder (I use regedit but there are numerous ways to achieve this). If the remote location was ever unabvailable I got the same error - "The required folder could not be found" and iTunes would terminate. At times I've use a USB stick for my library and in some cases, machines of my sons.. But if the locations is not resolvable iTUnes balks. Just my 2 worth

Just something quick to add, my libraries folder dissapeared on that account.
