Using a Dymo Labelwriter 310 with Windows 7

Hello Everybody, I'm new here. I'm not very technical so please bear with me.
I have bought a brand new laptop a few weeks ago with Windows 7 already installed.
I can't get my Epsom printer to work on it. The printer is Epsom Stylus R300, I can't use my Dymo Printer Label writer 310, and also MGI Photosuite.
Yes I know they are old and antiquated, but Iam used to them and can't afford to replace them.
I have tried to find drivers for these products, but to no avail. I have read that I can put my pc into compatibility mode, but haven't a clue how to do it.
I need very easy peasy instructions as I'm not a computer expert , so if anyone can help me, please let me know.

I'm just about getting used to the Windows 7 after using Windows XP for years.

As for compatibility mode, you can't put the whole PC into compatibility mode. You can, however, put a program into compatibility mode. Try this tutorial for that: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html?ltr=C

I got Dymos working on Windows 7. The first thing to bear in mind though, is that if you have tried once and failed, you need to run the uninstall program first, before trying again. You download it from the Dymo site where you got the 330 drivers.

Once you have done all that, try following this guide if you are still stuck. Its written for wireless usb adapters, but the same thing applies to anything really. I've posted this link a few times now, so sorry if its considered spam, but I found it really useful and it will certainly help here.

You can download the Window 7 Driver for Dymo Labelwriters here:

It is a stable beta, but there are no problems with it as far as I know.

Before you download though, check that your printer is in the list of compatible models: LabelWriter 310 (models 90966, 93029 & 93034 ONLY)

If it's not in the list it won't work with Windows 7. If it's less than 5 years old then you may be able to get a replacement from Dymo, see here:

That blog was funny. I can't believe somebody was moaning at Dymo because they would only give free replacements to people with printers that were less than 5 years old!

My experience of Dymo support was pretty good, in that they answered my query prompty within 24 hours. And whats more, it was a sensible answer that didn't just refer me to some dusty faq.
