Hi,
I recently upgraded from vista, and I was just looking at the windows.old folder, where all my old programs and whatnot reside. I tried a few of them out, and they seem to be functional. Essentially, the heart of my question is are there drawbacks to using programs that are in the program files (or wherever) of windows.old. Particularly in cases where there is an update process (say, like steam) will this present with issues?
Thanks for the help
