Using "Search Programs and Files"

The built-in Search Programs and Files leaves a lot to be desired. This morning I wanted to enter the Spanish más but the string would not accept the accented 'a' so I ended up with files containing my entire collection of Requiem Masses, files of recipes for masitas, a file about Mascagni, a file of notes on mass-emigration, etc. but also, some ten files each with a number of the Spanish más.

Is there a way of making Search Programs and Files accept accented letters? If not, are there any recommendation for a third-party desktop search program? Thanks in advance

It looks like File Locator Lite (aka Agent Ransack) can do what you want.
It's a nice free search utility, I've used it for years...

Thank you Subyroo for your reply. I downloaded your UltraSearch and installed it and tried it out (as I usually do) with the Spanish word "más" It immediately found 4 emails with the word más in the subject but missed about a hundred files with más in the text. These files are all ODTs or DOCs or TXTs. Am I missing something here?
