Using Skype

Well I have been using Skype for over four years. I have 20 contacts, many abroad and it hasn't cost me a single penny!

Sorry to come back again but I have never heard of anyone having to pay for Skype to Skype video or audio calls. There is no charging scheme in place. You can open an account with a fictitious name and a one off Hotmail email address so they (Skype) have no idea who you really are! So how can they possibly charge you?

I use Skype all the time, and never get charged for Skype to Skype calls. My mobile phone provider (Three UK) use it as a main selling point, my Three phone actually has Skype integrated into it, and I can login and call anyone using Skype straight from my phone. It has never cost me anything.

Of course Skype to OTHER numbers (Landlines, mobiles etc.) does cost money, and you have to buy credit for that, but frankly that's what I pay for my free minutes on my phone for.
