Solved utilman.exe corrupt - how to replace or fix?

sfc scannow says utilman.exe is corrupted but can't fix it. I have the original installation discs but these haven't helped either. I've also run a third party program called sfcfix which apparently can sometimes fix issues that sfc scannow can't, but it too was unable to fix utilman, even when it requested me to insert the installation discs to presumably try and find the original.

Can anyone suggest how I can resolve this issue? I've tried to find where I can download a safe utilman.exe but so far no good. Here's the sfcfix report:

Hi Ed,

Shoot over to the Sysnative forum, where you got the SFCfix tool from, they can provide you with a download zip which you will need to drag into SFCfix and then rerun it.
Full instructions provided.

However before you do so please run KB947821,(SURT), it may fix some of them

rerun SFCfix
provide them with both the Checksur log(SURT) and a >>revised<< SFCfix log

The corrupt files, winsxs, are part of the Windows Update process and they have a vast library.

Note they tend to be very busy - be patient
and you have other corruptions apart from Utilman
