What is going wrong after soundtrack or music has been added and the clip saved? Frequently music playback in the files converted from a number of formats ( obv. to wmv) is dodgy, choppy or simply not capable of being listened to. Obviously I am at fault. What is being done incorrectly> Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit (warranted no emoticons) Thanks JR

If they are converted from some other format, it could be the program that is converting them. But, was the audio OK in the other formats?

Thanks no problem in MTS or MOV before conversion of file i original song in my PC but once added as audio...... Admittedly I am no Phil Spector or Alan Parsons but the reproduction when played back after the file has been saved is lousy with intermittently ok sometimes. Perhaps I should use a better medium that the windows option ie ACD or some such JR

I haven't seen many complaints about Windows movie maker, but this is not the section for video issues (even though you are talking about the sound portion).

(I have a recording studio but its strictly audio recording using Sonar).
