View attachment 256402For the last month or so, I have been getting random STOP errors on my home built system. Some are system service exceptions, IRQL_less_ than, USBhub stops, etc.. All of these are after about an hour or so of no issues, and only seem to occur when I am playing a game with rich graphics.. Once or twice I got a page error in non paged space or something like that. I did a RAM check (originally had 8GB) and found one chip had an address error, so I removed it and am currently running just one 4 GB chip. I also did a CHKDSK, and nothing was found. Ran a SFC, and again nothing. These are starting to get quite annoying, and I am including a summary of the events with your SF tool.
Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I would hate to think that this has been running great for a couple of years, and now wants to bite the big one. I am hoping it is something fixable, and am asking for your help.
Thanks so much, and I look forward to any help you can offer.

Allen

Overheating? Check & clean all fans. Remove/ re-insert, repeatedly, all boards & connectors. If you have not done a clean install in years, it's time. IME, if problems continue it's likely a MB issue (needle in haystack). Good luck & please post your findings back here.

Thanks for the input.. I will do that tomorrow. As a side note, I have updated all drivers, flashed the ROM, done all windows updates, checked versions, etc.. Right after my original post, I was playing a game, and got a fltmng BSOD error..I saw this once before, looked at Microsoft's site, but wasn't much help.
Thanks again, and I will let you know if a good cleaning helps:)

Sorry it'd taken a while to get back.. Did a cleaning, and just ordered a new CPU fan and memory.. Still getting the same errors..They don't happen all the time, but I have noticed over the last few months that my fans seem to be running a lot more than they used to. Haven't received the new parts yet, but I am hoping that will cure the issues.. Most of the time now I am getting a BSOD of page in non page error.. STOPx50...checked the drives again along with a MEMTEST and nothing shows up glaring at me..I'm kinda at a loss.. Any other ideas?

Did you re-seat all boards & connections? This is on the off chance there may be an intermittent or dirty contact somewhere. If you're pretty certain that your hardware is okay and you haven't done a clean install for a long while, that's the next step I'd take... wipe it all clean and start fresh, but may as well wait until your new parts arrive. There are excellent guides here for the best way to clean install Windows.

New parts arrived yesterday ( a NICE big FRIO CPU cooler, and some more RAM). Installed both, and so far have had no system crashes at all. :)
YAY!!!!
Thanks for the input everyone, and game on!:)

Good to know; maybe was a heat problem. Hope it remains stable. It's a calming feeling those rare times when things seem rock solid, eh? Enjoy!
