Hello,

I bought a computer 3 months ago and from the beginning I had BSODs. Mostly they occur every couple of days but sometimes they occured 2 or 3 times in one day. I never got BSOD while playing a game. They mostly happened while I was surfing the web, watching Youtube or torrenting, I would say always while I was using internet but can't be 100% sure now. I got maybe 6-7 different BSODs but I think most of them are MEMORY MANAGEMENT. I ran all possible tests including Memtest (with all combinations of RAM in different slots), Prime95, Furmark. It never failed any of them. I have replaced RAM, but still the same. I tried 3 different WLAN adapters and a wired connection, nothing helps. Then I tried 3 or 4 different drivers for GPU and USB3 controller and everything is the same. I tried installing Windows 8 and got BSOD less than hour after fresh installation while installing windows updates. On Windows 8 problem is the same, every couple of days BSOD. I returned to Windows 7 again and still the same problem. I sent my computer to my vendor and they changed RAM and said that computer passed every test and that everything works fine but I still get BSODs. I don't know what to do next. I hope you can help me. If you need any other information I will provide it gladly.

Thanks in advance

Your ATI driver has been flagged.

Code:

*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmpag.sys[/COLOR][/B]

Download the 13.9 driver from here then use AMD Uninstall Utility to remove all traces of your current driver, CCC etc. Reboot and install the 13.9 driver.

   Note
When installing choose 'Advanced' or 'Custom' (whichever option is available, just not Express) and uncheck everything except the video driver.

Your Realtek HD Audio driver has also been flagged.

It's pretty recent, was this installed from the motherboard disk? Download the one linked below, then uninstall your current driver and install the downloaded version. It is from the ASRock support pages and predates your currently installed version.

Your network adapter driver is ancient.

I already used this AMD driver and had BSODs but I will install it again now. I just got BSOD while uninstalling AMD driver. Dump file is attached. Realtek driver was downloaded from their site. I don't use this network adapter anymore.

I already tried 3 versions for this Etron controller. And it won't install AMD video driver, it says package error. I'm downloading it again now.

EDIT: Just got BSOD while uninstalling Etron since it didn't uninstall first time when it also had BSOD. The same error as previous one.

And another BSOD while trying to uninstall Etron. I managed to uninstall it when I unplugged all devices from USB 3 slots. But as I said I already tried other versions of this driver and had BSODs anyway. Now I have installed older version and tried to uninstall it while USB is plugged into one of the USB 3 slots and it BSOD again. Can it be that the motherboard itself is broken considering this USB 3 part beacuse it BSOD with 3 different drivers? Can you tell if this is driver or hardware related?

AMD 13.9 wouldn't install so I installed 13.12 instead.

I don't know why there isn't Etron Controller, but there were two Etron devices before I uninstalled them. I installed them later but they are not showing.

EDIT: I know why there aren't Etron devices. I disabled USB 3 in BIOS in the meanwhile.

Yeah they're all pointing to the EtronXHCI again.

Instead of disabling it in BIOS try uninstalling the host controller via Device Manager and then rebooting and let Windows source a driver for it if possible.

Yes, I have tried 3 different versions. It blames Etron in this cases but what about other crashes that don't point to any specific driver? And I got BSODs while I was not using USB 3 slots and even while it was disabled in BIOS.

Another BSOD while watching video on internet. Is it possible that it is GPU fault? But I didn't ever get BSOD while gaming so it is weird.

Apologies for letting this slip by.

Your last dump is down to your ATI driver.

Code:

Download the 13.9 driver from here then use AMD Uninstall Utility to remove all traces of your current driver, CCC etc. Reboot and install the 13.9 driver.

   Note
When installing choose 'Advanced' or 'Custom' (whichever option is available, just not Express) and uncheck everything except the video driver.

No problem, I see you're very busy. So I installed 13.9. version now but during installation it gives me some error, like installation package error. Video driver is installed though, so we will see in next few days. I had no BSODs since last one I posted but it's ususal not to have BSOD every day.

Right now my computer freezed but no BSOD. First it became laggy for 5-10 seconds and then it freezed so I had to restart. It happened few times before too. Computer was on for about 10 minutes, no longer.

I changed motherboard and did a fresh install of Windows. After couple of hours got BSOD while idling, I left computer without any programs opened and when I returned it was restarted. It says atikmdag.sys. I repeat my question from few posts before: is this normal that GPU causes BSOD with 3-4 different driver versions on different motherboards and different RAM or does it mean it's hardware error? Now we can be sure that RAM and motherboard aren't culprit since I changed them and still getting BSODs. Dump file is attached.
