Hello everyone.

I've been dealing with various and intermittent BSOD's over the last three months or so. Didn't have the time to devote my full attention to the problem, but I have been pouring over information and have tried various recommended solutions to no avail.

I've attached the dm log files. Sorry if I'm missing anything, please just let me know if I can provide any other information.

Intel Matrix Storage manager is flagged in at least 2 of the .dmp files. Please try this:

1. Create a System Restore Point:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/697-system-restore-point-create.html

2. Uninstall the Intel Matrix Storage application, then reboot.

Monitor for further BSOD's and report back.

Follow:
1. Log in as administrator, open Windows Explorer and go to C:\Windows\Minidump
2. Delete all .dmp files in that folder
3. Run Driver Verifier as follows:

Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

Driver Verifier will cause your computer to run very sluggishly - this is normal. What it is trying to do is force your system to BSOD and isolate the offending driver/s. When it does, reboot, disable driver verifier, reboot as normal, re-run the DM Log Collector, and upload the new ZIP file here.

I recommend creating a system restore point before turning on driver verifier:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/697-system-restore-point-create.html

If your system fails to boot to desktop once driver verifier is enabled, turn it off by booting into Safe Mode:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/69585-safe-mode.html

Thanks for the quick reply. I followed the steps above but after I ran driver verifier and restarted, it seems that the black "starting windows" is taking forever to load. It's been about 2 hours but no change. Doesn't seem to be frozen though (?)

Should I just wait it out or force start instead?

Remove Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers.

1. Uninstall any IRST applications from Control Panel > Programs and Features, if installed (doesn't seem to be the case).
2. Uninstall the driver from device manager:
- Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
- In the "Computer Management" window that opens:
- Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices.
- Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
- Select one Intel device item under it, right click, then uninstall.
- Repeat the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
3. Now restart the computer.
4. Once booted, Windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.

In the uninstall window, there is a check box to "delete the driver softwear for this device". Should I check it?

Also I noticed when I went into programs and features Intel Matrix Storage Manager is appearing on the list. Should this still be on the list, even after uninstalling it? (in reference to post #2).

Dear Golden,

I followed the steps you outlined, everything seemed fine, but after awaking from sleep mode, instantly shut down. Booted Windows normally and had a titleless blue screen soon after.

FYI looking under the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers list, I now see new devices. I'll post a picture and a new dump.
