Hello,
I'm getting different BSODs on various occasions, but mainly when the system is running CPU intensive tasks. Since most of them seemed to be memory related (i.e. IRQL_LESS_OR_NOT_EQUAL) or some with error code 0x000000x9, which i don't know to what it is related, i thought that maybe my RAM are corrupt. So i started testing them with Memtest 4, which is running in Windows...but when i thought i ruled out the faulty ones i tested them again one by one and it didn't throw any errors. So i testet them again with memtest86+ which didn't result in any errors either, even after more than 8 passes and running with XMP at 1600MHz.
So i thought that it's either the harddisk, which is a OCZ Vertex 2 SSD, or a driver related problem. After updating all drivers, BIOS update, SSD firmware update and testing with the verifier i could identify acpi.sys as the one causing errors which, as far as i know, can be triggered by many different causes.
Now i re-installed windows and the newest drivers, because i thought it could be the configuration of the SSD, but now i get BSODs again, only with mostly different errors than before. Some of the ones i had were related to hidclass.sys but most of them just hardware errors with error code 0x000000124.
Most of the minidumps I included in the post are caused when stressing the machine with prime95.
Cooling is not the problem...the CPU doesn't rise over 50°c, even during hours over full stress.
My configuration:
Windows 7 Professional x64
CPU: i7-970 6-core @ 3,2GHz
Mainboard: MSI x58a-gd65
HDD: OCZ Vertex 2 120gb
GPU: MSI GTX470
RAM: 12GB (6x2GB) Corsair XMS3 Dominator @ 1600 Mhz
PSU: Corsair 650W
Please help me, I'm really running out of ideas.
Cheers
