Hello All,
Over the last couple of weeks I've been attempting to connect and install two different audio interfaces. One was a Tascam US800 (which I gave up on and returned due to BSODs) After updating all drivers and the system bios, I tried to install a MOTU 800 which more often than not BSODs my system. It now BSODs instantly upon turning on the power. ntoskrnl.exe seems to be common in all of these events? Two days ago though, the system also crashed immediately on update to AVAST 7 (which never completed) Blue Screen viewer showing it was being caused by aswsp.sys. I don't believe this even shows in my logs because I had to restore my system in order to uninstall AVAST and reinstall Avast 6. I have already run a chkdsk and memtest and showed no errors. I have replaced a Crucial memory module about a year ago that was faulty as shown by memtest. Current memtest good though FWIW.
I am hopeful that someone can spot something obvious in these logs. I would appreciate any help as this is driving me absolutely crazy.
Thanks very much,
Titan
