ventrilo doesnt work when minimized

i play cabal online and i use Ventrilo but has to be an open window to work how can i make it work while minimized

I had a similar problem a while back in addition to vent would not work at all while playing certain games. The only fix I have found is to right click on ventrilo / run as administrator and all was well with the world. Of course I have to do this every time I run vent but it's a small price to pay to be able to yell at my comrades.

Yes. Vent must be ran as Admin.

If like me, and you sometimes forget to do so just right click your Ventrillo exe or shortcut,
and choose -> properties / Compatability tab.

and check the run as admin box.

Youll get a prompt now everytime you launch it.
