I can't get Ventrilo to install, I've tried compatibility mode and and running it as admin. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Soo sorry, should read the pop-up more closely. Does "reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions /va /f" have any bad effects on security?

I just installed and connected without any issues, I just installed using Vista compatibility mode.

Ventrilo on Windos 7

I installed Ventrilo to my Windows 7 OS computer and it works.
I have only noticed that a few times even though people talk to me i can not hear them. i Log out of the ventrilo and as it is logged out i listen to what thy told me like an old movie (kind of a monolog).


Anyone has any ideas?

So you guys got Vent to run on your windows 7 OS..... I can't.... well I installed it however when i starting it... all it says is "MSG: Contacting server"

everything is set right... infact i can connect using XP on a different computer..... but not this one..... any ideas?
