Version 7022?

When I downloaded the beta it was 7000 how can I upgrade to 7022?

Although in most versions the upgrade from one build to another worked, when I tried to upgrade from 7000 to 7022 it didn't work for me.

You can start setup.exe from the 7022 DVD or iso and follow the setup screens, choose upgrade when prompted, not custom install. Then let the system try to upgrade. If it fails, it will simply revert you back to build 7000, no damage made.

If it doesn't work, you should make a clean install.

You want to update the build 7000 to 7022 online, without actually manually downloading anything?

No, this is not possible. It's not a service pack, it's a whole new installation.

You can find 7022 build among download sites, if you search on google download windows 7 7022 it will return many websites.

You need to have the ISO in order to upgrade , either you want a clean install or an upgrade. You cannot do this otherwise.

Thanks alot. Other little question: Whats about OpenGL? doesnt seems to work or be compatible.

What problems are caused and where?

You prolly know Counter-Strike 1.6 it puts me a message saying This mode isnt valid/applicable when i put settings to OpenGL.

Are you using the nvidia driver found from Windows Update, or you manually installed the vista version from Nvidia?

I upgraded to 7022 from 7000 with no issues at all. Took about an hour but everything is working fine.

By what I read it appears that 7022 is not a legitimate release by M/S.

If not then I think i'll pass.

They're all soft of BETA builds yet... 7022 is not illegal, it's just not officially given to the public like the public beta.
