Hi tutul733

If you brought PC with Win 7 Pre-installed it is the OEM version.

Hi yowanvista

No, it is not retail.

My Computer

OS
ME/XP/Vista/Win7
RTM = Release To Manufacturing = Official Windows 7 release.
OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer (Dell, Compaq, HP, eMachines, etc.) = Official Windows 7 release.

A Retail version of Windows 7 can be installed on as many computers as you want, as long as it is only one computer at a time. This gives you the ability to move Windows 7 from one computer to another as your hardware needs change, again, as long as it's only installed on one computer at a time.

Both OEM and Retail versions are RTM versions, but the OEM is bound to the hardware it is initially installed on and cannot be moved to another computer.

Retail costs more.
