Very long boot wait time ,, help !!!

Hello :

my laptop is running Win 7 Home Premium , 4 gig ram , 500 gig hd ,, and with all newest win 7 updates from MS .

I was running System Mechnic to optimize everything then did a reboot and it started doing a CHKDSK and it was working almost 12 hours doing that chkdsk ,, and i thought it had stopped ,, so i turned it off and rebooted and the same chkdsk ran again for 14 hours then it started to reboot ..

I was a very long time to reboot to windows almost 20 minuets .

Now it does the same 20 minuet reboot just looking at the Windows logo screen for 20 minuets before it goes to my normal Screen where i see all programs .. etc. etc.


When is fully rebooted it seems to work normaly .

Is there some program in Win 7 that can check and REPAIR my long boot up problems while it is sill running almost normally ???
