lm having a very intermittent problem.. basically my laptop restarts randomly, the strangest part is lm getting no blue screens and no crash dumps are being created (settings allow for memory dumps).

my original assumption was that because my DVDRW drive decided to stop working l started using an external, my last weird crash two weeks ago was an hour or two after removal of the usb DVDRW drive.

the one prior to that l was having trouble with connectivity with my headset l use on Discord.. but that was over a month ago. and the one l vaguely remember before that l was chatting in Discord (my last two discord wasnt running).

so my question is after running the usual checks (sfc /scannow and scan disk etc) havent chucked out any problems is how l go about logging something that doesnt even create a crash dump, because the only thing l really know about the crashes is they seem to happen very early in the morning between 4 and 7am, lve never had one outside of that and l cant exactly be sure, but l feel they seem to happen on the same day of the week (tho they dont happen regularly) in any case, just looking for some advice to help my track the issue.

Are you, or did you try the link recommendations to be able to view the error screen?

lve changed the settings as suggested. lm assuming l have to wait for the next time l have the issue before l can view any error messages.

as previously mentioned they are very random and l could go weeks without one so l have to play the waiting game for the moment to see if one pops up before l can provide further information.
