I installed this motherboard Last weekend and i've had Long boot up ever since.
It seems the lag on the Sata 3 port. At first the was nothing plugged into it , so I thought maybe plugged a hdd into to get it to move but nothing . boot up hangs on sata 3 for about 3-5 minutes before moving on.. Also I am running a AHCI setup but when the Sata ports show in bio's load it says Sata1 - IDE HDD.. These are all Sata Drive plugged in.. Also Bootup was fine on Last Motherboard with all same stuff plugged into it .. Any Help would be great

hi there, how long does it take to get to safemode? Becanuse you have changed your motherboard, you have changed chipsets/display. Try loading safemode and uninstalling the SMBUS from in system Devices in Device Manager and also your display drivers. Reboot and put your new motherboard CD in and install chipset and disaply drivers. Hope this works.:)

Another thing to consider is a faulty mobo. It used to take my previous mobo 10-15 minutes to boot (and it was newly installed at the time), most of which was during post. Finally switched to a new, different mobo, with all the same stuff installed, and it boots in a matter of a few minutes.

Another thing to consider is flashing the bios.
