Hi,

I have a short question.

I recently did a clean install of Win 7 ultimate 32 bit
and after customizing, i made a backup.

Now that i want to restore, it cannot find it on my external HDD.
When i check i see that it has created a VHD file.

Is there a way to restore it non-virtually, so that it just boots from the C drive?

Thanks,
Yes i tried all options from the manage backups in the control panel and even booting using the recovery disk.
I dont understand why it doesnt recognize the backup.

Only thing i did was creating a system image from the backup and restore function within control panel, and save it to my external HDD.
I did replace the backup on the ext drive to another folder could this be the problem?
When i navigate to the backup location it still doesnt see it. :S

You could always try to Boot from the VHD then run a backup which will create an actual backup file to restore from once you boot back your real OS.
