HI folks,
I tried to create a vhd (at the size of 80 gb) in my new laptop.
I named it vhd1.vhd and saved it in my documents folder.
While creating a vhd for the first time in windows 7, the process accidently terminated.
However, vhd hasbeen created.
Now,I couldn't attach my .vhd file. It says the file is corrupted.
(Of course, vhd creation process is not completed)
VHD swallows 80 gb from my primary drive.
how to fix corrupted vhd file?
how to revert my storage space back?

Welcome to the Seven Forums!

It doesn't sound like you have anything stored on the VHD, since you were never able to attach it. In this case, I would just delete the VHD and try again.
