I have been using Adobe Premiere Elements 11, but their menus are becoming a deal breaker. They are the same in version 12 as they were in version 4, NO true HD support at all. In 2014???

I don't want to use Sony Vegas because it doesn't support good audio unless you buy the expensive version;
I don't want free software because you get what you pay for!
I tried Pinnacle years ago, horrible;
I bought something starting with an "M" that lasted about a week before I uninstalled -

Suggestions please, for a sophisticated editor? At the moment it's looking like Premiere Pro, but I would love to hear about alternatives that don't cost $2000, or $20 a month forever. :p

Two LG Blu Ray burners; one is much newer but I didn't know what to do with the old one and there was a spare slot in my case, so they sit there together. 1 bank of card readers and USB ports below Blu Rays.
Ah well, since it seems no one has an opinion, I'm going to give Pinnacle 17.5 Ultimate a go. I'm sick of using old technology with the Adobe product.
