Solved Video Playback

Hi,
I am using these hardwares:
Intel P4 2.4Ghz
1.00GB RAM
256MB nvidia 6800xt

now my issue is that i am unable to play videos in any playback software includes WMP,Klite Vlc and others....every video that i starts just keep hanging and i experience a sluggish video play back,,,I reckon my hardware's met the Min. requirements but not that minimum that it's won't be able to playback a 360P .FLV

Hello,you're system requirements are good for playing videos without problems. Maybe you should try with Gom Player. I'm using it for 2 years,and don't have any problems. And make sure that you have installed codecs that are needed. I suggesting to try Shark007 codecs.

Are you familiar with msconfig?
If you are I would like to see a screenshot of the startup tab.

If this is a new problem on an existing build you've been using for playback for a while then use system restore for a quick and painless fix. If this is a pc you've just started using for playback, reinstall windows and give it a try.

svchost or service host, ...might as well just consider that to be windows itself.
The one eating the most ram is usually the bundle of services controlling networking and internet connection.

...and dear god please don't get me started on eset.

well..problem solved i did the following:
1)Uninstall all media playing softwares...then installed k-lite codec pack without Player only codecs...than re-enable windows media player 12 and now..I am very happy all videos working flawlessly....
