Hi everybody.

I have a dell laptop inspiron 1520. (blue ray dvd player)
When i had windows vista, i could watch all my videos in ful screen as smooth as i would watch it on TV...but now that i've upgraded to win7, when i want to watch my vids full screen, they get all kinda pixely...the quality sucks.

I wish i could tell you what video card i have but i dont know how to find that.
Any help?

Yes, right click "my computer" and click "manage" then click "device manager" on the left.

Then expand "display adapters" and see what card you have. You may need drivers.

Type system into start/search and hit Enter. Then go to Hardware Resources > IRQ. That will show your Video card.
Your problem could be a missing codec. What is the filetype of your videos ??

It should tell you in "device manager" you can just type it in the search.

If you have the model # of your laptop, we could find it

OR when you find out you can go here

http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-cards/602-latest-nvidia-forceware-video-drivers-windows-7-a.html

Download and install the latest drivers and see if that works

Great! Have a great day! Looks like you weer running a "generic" driver and the real one probably whipped the video device into shape.

Don't be scared to hit those scales if you feel someone here has helped you.

(upper right of post that helped you)
