Video problems with all games

Hello,

I've just installed W7's 64 bit RC here on my laptop, and since then I can't run any game in widescreen mode. Even if I change this manually on the game's options (did it with Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead), it ignores the changes and forces 4:3 again.

My computer's processor isATI Turion 64 X2 Mobile, and I'm using an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400.

Yes, I've same problem like you on Windows 7 Beta. I'm pretty shure that is since time I install updates. Is there any solution?

If your sure that the updates are the problem you could try to manually uninstall latest updates. Maybe you'll find out wich update causes the problem. Did W7 update the drivers for your graphics card?

I guess it's optional update called NVIDIA driver update for NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT (Prerelease - WDDM 1.1), but i don't know how to uninstall that, it's not on installed updates list.
